In Austria there is a large portfolio of climbing opportunities for sports, ice and alpine climbers. The climbing has evolved in recent decades from an extreme sport to the grassroots, to the delight of both children and adolescents as well as adults and seniors alike.

Bungee jumping is one of the extreme sports.

It is then secured to an elastic rope and jumps sometimes over 100 meters in the open case in depth. Case time and velocity depend on the height of the jump point, but move in the order of seconds, and 100 km/h.

Even if it is dangerous at first glance it looks like the sport is relatively safe, provided that all safety regulations are followed. The euphoric sensation one gets after a free fall is indescribable. Bungee jumpers don't mind putting up with sweaty hands and quivering knees before they leap to experience what they absolutely love - the sheer feeling of falling. "Desire to feel fear", "the tickle of risk-taking", "the ultimate feeling - like love". That's how bungee-jumpers describe the exhilarating rush they feel after they jump.
